This elopement is a session that I will never forget. Alyssa and Robert wanted to ditch the traditional wedding and elope with just the two of them and their two children. They picked this special spot in Hudson Valley that overlooked the mountains, which was absolutely STUNNING. We started our hike up which was about 20 minutes, and it was all gravel – so it was very kid friendly!!
When we got to the summit, it was so windy. We could barely put up the decorations because of how windy it was. We were so upset trying to figure out alternatives, but Robert and Alyssa just went with the punches. They ditched the decorations and just put the carpet down and said, “Let’s do this!!!”
Officiated by their best friend, Alyssa and Robert said “I do.” It was beyond special and I’m beyond lucky to be a part of their special day. We ended their elopement by taking family photos, mountainside and started our journey back down. We signed their marriage license in the parking lot, and I even signed as a witness, HOW COOL. Totally epic day.
